What does asynchronous and synchronous mean?
Asynchronous Appointments:
These are conducted without a scheduled, real-time meeting. Instead of speaking directly with your provider, they will review your intake form and medical information at their convenience. If you meet the requirements, they will approve you for the appropriate program. This process is quick, efficient, and does not require a phone or video call.Synchronous Appointments:
These are real-time appointments required in certain states. In these cases, our team will contact you to schedule a video or phone visit with your provider. During this session, you’ll discuss your health history, goals, and any questions you may have before your provider approves you for the program.
Both types of appointments ensure you receive quality care while complying with the requirements of your state. If you’re unsure which type of consultation applies to you, our team will guide you through the process!
