Why Does My Vial Look Half Full?

Hallandale 3ml Vial

Updated over a month ago

We understand that seeing your vial appear “half-empty” can be concerning, but rest assured—this is completely normal!

Here’s why:

  • Hallandale Pharmacy uses 6mL vials to hold 3mL of liquid. This means the vial is larger than the amount of medication inside, which can make it look emptier than it actually is.

  • The 3mL of liquid you’re receiving is exactly the correct amount as prescribed.

This is a common practice in pharmacy packaging and has no effect on the quality or amount of medication you’re receiving.

If you ever have questions about your medication, don’t hesitate to reach out to us—we’re here to help!
